Home Schooling in Colorado

Homeschool is considered a non-public schooling option. A Notice of Intent to Homeschool can be filed with any school district in the state of Colorado. Home schooling is deregulated in the state of Colorado, therefore, the parent or guardian is taking on all of the responsibility for the student's education including but not limited to the acquisition of books, supplies, tests, and maintaining permanent records.

D20 Home School Academy Program Options

Academy District 20's Home School Academy supports home school families with engaging weekly enrichment (non-academic) programs for K-12 students. We are proud to offer students opportunities for interactive instruction in the arts, outdoors, science, and other areas to complement in-home learning.
