Talented and Gifted for Military Families

Before leaving your current school, please request an updated copy of your student’s Advanced Learning Plan (ALP). The ALP may also be referred to as the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Inspect your ALP/IEP to ensure it has the school’s/district’s gifted personnel listed. 

When arriving at your new Academy District 20 school, please request to speak with the TAG teacher/coordinator. You will be asked to provide a copy of your students ALP/IEP. Although the school will also request a formal transfer, providing a hard copy often lessens the wait time for Talented and Gifted Program services.
