 District 20 Enrichment Programs


District 20/Air Academy Federal Credit Union Art Scholarship Contest & Show (K-12)  - The annual Air Academy Federal Credit Union Art Scholarship Contest and Show showcases art from students across  Academy District 20.  This Art Show includes pieces from Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and High School students.  Art pieces will be on display for public viewing around the EAC, please come by to view art created by our talented District 20 students.  This event is open and free to the public. 

Leadership ~ Today & Tomorrow (5th) - The 5th Grade Leadership Day is an opportunity for 5th grade students to participate in various leadership activities.  Students are selelcted by their teachers to participate in this Leadership Day.  This event is only for the selected 5th grade students. 

Chess Tournament  -Students from across Academy District 20 will compete in the annual Chess Tournament.  Students at the elementary level must complete at their school for a spot to compete in the District tournament.  Any Middle School and High School students can register for the Chess Tournament at the door.  A registration fee applies for every student competing.  This event is open to all district 20 students who would like to  compete for a spot in the tournament.  Parents are welcome to stay on site while their students are competing in the tournament. 

District Choir Festival - The district choir festival is held on a bi-annual basis and the next one will be in the fall on 2019.    This has been an opportunity for the ASD20 high schools and middle schools to each showcase a choir.   There is also an elementary honor choir made up of selected students from each elementary school that performs. 

District 20 Spelling Bee - Join the Academy District 20 Community for the annual District Spelling Bee as students from various grades compete for spots in the Colorado State Spelling Bee.  This event is open and free to the Academy District 20 Community.
