School Choice Transportation Basics
Families may bring their students to satellite bus stops located throughout the district, generally near neighborhood elementary schools. These stops may change annually based on student demographics. A stop within walking distance is not guaranteed, and School Choice bus stops are unsupervised.
School Choice bus service is designed for efficiency, but students may experience:
- Ride times up to 75 minutes each way
- Riders from various schools and mixed grade levels
- Transfer points where students switch buses under driver supervision

Schools Without Transportation Options
We do not offer transportation for the following schools:
- Home School Academy
- Village Middle School
- Village High School
- District 20 Charter Schools
Elementary and Middle Schools

High Schools
Transportation is not guaranteed for School Choice high school students. However, if there is open space on an existing high school bus route, you may apply for bus service.
